The Vision Behind the Name
Lemonade D.E.L.S.A.

 

Ms. Delsa D. Dixon, the brain child of Lemonade D.E.L.S.A., is a Panamanian immigrant who came to the United States with her family at the age of 14. She was raised in a conservative family with Christ-influenced values, Caribbean English/Spanish language accents, and childhood exposure to cultural diversity. Her teenage U.S.A. immigrant journey acquainted her with much of life's "Lemony” moments - her interpretation! Yet, those “Lemony Life’s Moments” taught her to “DANCE to her OWN rhythm,” and RESIST peer-pressure while enjoying the Peace-Filled sense of Harmony with her Heavenly Father’s guidance! This Peace has caused her to welcome and embrace each individual without judgement but with a sense of excited curiosity!

Ms. Dixon navigated through Jr. High and High School being bullied and alienated. Her resilience resulted in her teachers' awareness and support, as well as, the admiration and respect of her peers. It also earned her the votes needed to gain the position of Student Council Vice-President and Home Coming Queen of Oceanside High School in Oceanside, California.

After high school Ms. Dixon earned an Associate's Degree in Liberal Studies from Mira Costa College in Oceanside, CA and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Administration from San Diego State University in California. She then earned 30+ years of professional corporate experience which includes peer counseling, customer service, sales, energy program, marketing and energy risk-management investigations. Ms. Dixon prides herself on her legacy of documented interstate civic contributions, published writings and international public speaking engagements.

Her real drive for providing products and services through Lemonade D.E.L.S.A is her life's journey with her family; in particular, the sacrifices made by three close members of her family who were graced to come home but suffered side-affects due to their military service deployments. Her father enlisted as a United States Marine and served during the Panama War, "Operation Just Cause." One brother served in the United States Army during "Desert Storm," and her baby brother served in the United States Airforce in Afghanistan, during "Operation Freedom Sentinel."

Though their pride in serving in the Armed Forces is great, as it is with many others who serve in the military, it exacts a price; if not on the battlefield, in many other ways. This may include, PTSD, depression, anxiety, headaches, etc.

​

Ms. Dixon's personal challenges with recurring acquired brain injuries galvanized her into finding ways to help deal with her and her family's ailments in the most effective and natural way possible. This process awakened her passion for assisting acquired brain injured persons (ABI), seniors, youth and military connected individuals and their families by providing services and products that promote the healing of their body, mind and soul.
